Dear Respected Guests,
Thank you for visiting Oklahoma State University-Panhellenic Council’s website. I encourage you to look around and explore, there are many different resources for the very different visitors to the site.
My name is Katy and I have the privilege of serving as the 2010 Panhellenic President. I wanted to first thank you for visiting our webpage and showing interest in our council, secondly I wish to tell you a little about the Panhellenic community we have here at Oklahoma State University. Serving on the council as Secretary last term, and President now has been the most rewarding experience of my college career. Sorority life fosters leadership, networking, social skills and growth in every positive aspect. Being a part of that tradition and serving as a member of a highly respected community has been an exceptional knowledge base as an undergraduate student. Greek Life provides a platform to excel in academics, philanthropy, community service and leadership enrichment. In fact, the Panhellenic Women’s G.P.A. is consistently higher than both the All-Student and the All-Women’s G.P.A. each semester.
The Panhellenic Council at Oklahoma State University is comprised of 11 national organizations each adding their own virtues, beliefs and ideals that make our Panhellenic Community a growing success. As a community, we follow the core beliefs of the National Panhellenic Conference (the governing body of all 26 member organizations). Our Panhellenic Community is one of the best in the nation, and we pride ourselves in continuing this tradition. This past year, our council brought home both the Overall Excellence Award, given biannually by National Panhellenic Conference, as well as the Sutherland Award we received at AFLV. As president, I hope to see to it that we receive national recognition again in the preceding year.
If you have any questions regarding the Panhellenic Community, or want to learn more about Greek Life or the programs we offer, do not hesitate to contact us!
Sincerely Yours,
Katy
Panhellenic Council President
